April showers bring May fruit?? Well not in this country! So instead we will be highlighting the May constant campaign Taste of Summer (I know some of you still will have snow but we will go with it!)

The bright and cheery colours in the Taste of Summer paper package are great for all kinds of projects. Like all CTMH papers, they have prints on both sides!

For this blog, I decided to focus on making scrapbook pages that do not require any stamping.  They can be enhanced with diecuts, other embellishments or if so desired, stamping. (CTMH even has a coordinating stamp that is available only during the month of May.)

The citrus slices are very versatile - depending on how you ink them they can be limes, lemons, oranges or grapefruits!

New digital scrapbook pages

Another round of digital Close To My Heart/Studio J scrapbooking.

 

 

This time I was in a rush, so I used the Express Collection designs.  I added a few accents to give it a more personal touch.

 

 

This is the easiest and quickest way to scrapbook!  There are lots of themes in the Express Collection:  Southern Caribbean Cruise, All About Me, Autumn/Winter 2013 Retreat, Getaway, Little Man, Little Miss, School Days, Sports and Year In Review.

 

 

A new feature is the Photo Collections. (Also found in Express Collection.) You can create two 12/12 sheets full of photos in the following sizes: 2x2, 3x3, 3x4, 4x4, 4x6 and 6x8. The print quality is amazing and this allows you to easily print sizes great for use in traditional scrapbooking, pocket scrapbooking or SMASHING.

Online scrapbooking

Studio J, the online scrapbooking program, from Close to my Heart is so easy to use!

I finished and ordered these five double page layouts today and can't wait to get the printed copies.

With my order, I also get the JPEG files so I can share them with others.

This first one was part of the Year in Review Express Collection.  The layout is done for you, you just need to upload your photos, place them, add text as desired and you're done!  Super easy for someone who's new to scrapbooking or who's in a hurry.

The rest are all are a part of the Custom Layout option.
Step 1 - Choose the paper kit you want to use.  Options include current and previous paper series from CTMH.

Step 2 - Choose from nearly 80 layout designs (including 1 - 16 photos per spread).

Step 3 - Upload your photos.

Step 4 - Customize the spread.
a) Add embellishments
b) Change paper combinations
c) Add alpha, titles, tags, quotes, accent images or borders
d) Choose and apply a distressing option.
